my schedule this semester
to answer jenny's question from a while ago, here are my classes for the upcoming semester:
pc329 pastoral care of congregations with mcnish
monday 10:40-12:30
nt212 gospel of john with parsenios
tues./thurs. 11:40-12:55
ec409 american religion and american literature with pierce
tues. 1:30-3:20 and thurs. 1:30-2:20
ed101 introduction to teaching ministry with osmer
tues./thurs. 3:30-4:45
gm104 academic year field education at princeton united methodist church
i'll have you note that as of right now, i have no classes on wednesdays or fridays. i'm sure that will change a little once precepts are scheduled. i'm really looking forward to this semester. i've heard that yolanda pierce is absolutely amazing and this class is exactly her specialty. plus, i get to read fiction so i'm more likely to do all my reading! i've wanted to take another class with parsenios so i'm happy to be doing that. and, much to my amusement, i'm finally taking ed101 in my super senior year when i should have taken it my junior year. i'm very happy to be in a class with dr. osmer again. the pc of congregations was one that sounded interesting and fit into my schedule. there were plenty of other courses i wanted to take but they happened to be at the same time as my other classes so i feel i've done fairly well with balancing it all out. and, finally, i think my field ed. experience is going to be extremely positive and i'm so thankful for that!
