the importance of being earnest

who doesn't love this:

"Due to poor and deteriorating weather conditions the Seminary's administrative offices will be closed today. Classes are cancelled
The Library will remain open, with the exception of the offices.
Thanks, German Martinez Director of Facilities"

i'm not one who is used to having classes cancelled for weather. i think once in my undergrad did we not have classes. i think midwesterners might not freak out as much ... either they are more used to it or they're more reckless/stupid/indifferent to the danger of the weather. who cares! i don't have class today! but i am very grateful that the liberry is going to be open. thanks very much to jenny who encouraged everyone to pray in earnestness for this!
