fun times for reading week!

my friend sara from kansas is coming to see me tomorrow! she's flying in to la guardia and we're going to stay the night in nyc. i made appointments for manicures because she was supposed to come when i won that makeover but she got sick so she's coming now and i thought i should treat her to some of what she missed. then we're hopefully going to see a show! we're going to be trying for student rush tickets and i'm going to encourage either rent or wicked but sara gets to pick cause she's the visitor and i've seen both and love both so i will go happily along. i've had songs from rent in my head all day so that may be a sign. if all else fails, we're going to stop by the tkts booth and see what they have.

then on saturday i think we're going to the met and hang around new york in general. on sat. night we're going to a hockey game here in jersey. i've never been to a hockey game so i'm kind of excited! and it's cool that i get to see nhl the first time out!

alas on sunday i have to work from 12 to 5. i'll probably let sara either sleep in or come to work with me and let her bum around palmer square. i feel like a bad hostess but i tried to get off work. then we're going out to dinner with lots of folks, including ann and her bff that is visiting, to the tiger's tale.

don't know what the plans are yet for monday or tuesday. sara heads home on tuesday afternoon.

so, i prolly won't be posting until wednesday. and then there will be another lapse of posting when my friends amy, from michigan, and sarah, from minnesota/maine, come to see me thursday through monday. it's amazing that i have so many wonderful friends that want to come see me. i love it!
