one step closer to financial freedom

i cut up a credit card tonight!!!

i've cancelled cards before but they're usually ones for stores that i didn't use terribly often and only opened for a discount (like old navy, victoria's secret and j.crew). but tonight, i cancelled a real credit card. one that i actually used quite frequently; often enough to earn rewards even. but, i really would rather live my life without being dependent on credit cards so it was quite a victory to deem one useless!
