i feel like a dork

i was sure i had class at 2:30. so, i walk over to stuart and try to walk into the classroom and i see people that definitely wouldn't be in my class. and then i see the teacher that is definitely not my teacher. since i was a bit early, i thought i'd just wait in the hall. i see one of my classmates waiting too. finally, it's exactly the time class starts and we're still waiting so we wonder if the room got changed somehow. we decide to look at the classroom assignment list posted in the hall and lo and behold, our class starts at 3:30. and i was so sure i had written down that it started at 2:30! at least i wasn't the only one...

i thought this was interesting

You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

this morning was good for my soul

i don't know what it was. i just walked over to the caf for breakfast. but something about that walk encouraged me. it must have been something to do with the quiet stillness. or the birds singing. or that perfect morning light. it was just beautiful. it also might have helped that for the first time since i returned from bulgaria, i had a full night's sleep. all i can say that whatever calmed my heart was much needed after this week of finals where i repeatedly thought of wanting to quit seminary and planned different ways i could support myself after i did. thanks be to God.

hey people in the princeton area!

do you have a video camera i can borrow?

i need to make a five minute video for an application.
(kinda nervous to tell you all that the application is for a reality t.v. show ... that's why i used parentheses)
