i've finally found the time to share with you a little about what my summer's been about. or, at least what i've done with my free time. i think i've found the time to post mostly because i'm having a bad day and figured this could cheer me a bit.

this list could go on. i have a pile of books ready for reading. i'll let you know if i get to any more!

i'll probably see a couple more movies ... hairspray, joshua and across the universe are on my list. the problem now is that i'm trying to be more frugal so i don't know when i will actually be able to go to a movie again!

in addition to these extracurricular activities, i have completed my 350 hour field ed. internship at new summit presbyterian church; i have attended 3 weddings (was a bridesmaid in one) and will go to 2 more; i have seen lots of old friends (but not nearly enough for not nearly long enough!); i met my second cousin and her husband; i've seen some awesome thunderstorms; i met a ton of awesome people; i've renewed my love for dipped cones from dairy queen; i've seen a larger variety of nasty and gross bugs than i ever want to see again in my life; i've spent way too much money; and i've concocted an amazing adventure that you are sure to hear more about!

for the benefit of everyone

all right. i know there are always tons of suggestions on how to get rid of hiccups. most of them don't work. i am convinced that a lot were developed by mean people who want to see their already suffering friends do something ridiculous.

but i'm hear to tell you that the real cure has been made known to me. seriously, this lady from my church told me the answer and i didn't believe her but i tried it and miraculously my hiccups were gone.

i would be remiss if i did not share this amazing discovery with everyone i know!

to get rid of hiccups, just eat two tums (or rolaids). that's it. they are gone. and it's not even embarrassing to do!

to megan

and to any others who are waiting for an update

believe me, i'm working on it. i even have a word document saved with the info. for my next post. although, don't hold your breath, i don't know how interesting it will be.

but before i can make a real post again, i have to work on stuff for VBS that's starting tonight and i have to do my final report for field education.

i hate it when my real life interferes with my blogging life! ;)
