7,355 miles later...

after 7,355 miles and 1,020 pictures, my road trip is complete.
back in jersey.
it was the best of times, it was the ... well, it never was the worst of times.
i had a great adventure!

coast to coast.
7 states i never visited before.
20 states in all.
4 states at once.
8 national parks.
4.25 audio books.
2 countries.
2 weddings.
hit it big in vegas. (and by big, i mean $14 over what i bet in total.)
old friends.
new friends.
completely broke now.

hello friends! if you're interested in what i've been up to on my road trip, you can see photos here. but be forewarned: there are 789 photos so far. if you want a more pared down version, i think there are around 150 photos on my facebook group called "where in the world is kyle". also, you can expect more photos to be added because by my reckoning, i still have around 2000 more miles to go!

p.s. for some reason unbeknownst to me, when i added my photos to flickr they were not in the proper chronological order that i thought they would be. much as i wish they were, i don't know how nor do i have the time to fix that for you. sorry!

where i am and where i'm going to be

hey friends! i've started my crazy cross-country roadtrip! i'm in montrose, colorado right now. here's my schedule in case you're interested in what i'm doing this month:

july 30: salina, ks

july 31 - august 3: parent's house in the country, ks

august 3: salina, ks

august 4-6: montrose, co

august 6: san francisco, ca (via arches national park, salt lake city, reno)

august 7-10: wawona, yosemite national park

august 10-12: las vegas, nv

august 12-14: grand canyon national park, az

august 14-16: cheyenne, wy

august 16-17: custer national park, mount rushmore, wall drug, sioux falls, sd (i will be camping somewhere or finding a cheap motel ... as yet to be determined)

august 17-19: chicago, il

august 19-20: niagara falls, canada side

august 20: freeport, me

august 21-???: acadia national park, me

i don't know yet how long i will stay in acadia. i'm planning to arrive back in princeton, nj on september 3rd at the latest.
